The next 100 years.
This has been a season of regrouping and regathering into denominations such as the ECO, EPC and the PCA, while we rebuild, renew, and re-evangelize our entire country again. Some evangelical and Biblically faithful congregations have been unable to leave the PCUSA and must be kept within our groupings or organizations on some level or basis (such as through the Fellowship of Presbyterians, etc.).
Building infrastructure. This is a time to devote our resources, our money, to great evangelical, Biblically faithful institutions such as: Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, Covenant Theological Seminary, Westminster Theological Seminary, Reformed Theological Seminary, among many other evangelical Biblically faithful institutions, to create expanded Master of Divinity programs, and to build and expand Continuing Education Programs and facilities. The expanded Master of Divinity programs are needed to replace the loss of the PCUSA seminaries, as they are coerced and pushed into Unitarian and Progressive theological world views adopted by the PCUSA. Seminarians are the army of the Living God, going out to preach the good news of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in an increasingly pagan world and nation. In addition, these institutions must be expanded and build housing for Continuing Educations programs. As the world becomes more pagan we need to provide a place of retreat and renewal, on an annual basis, for our clergy and elders, so that they can keep their spiritual batteries charged in this difficult environment. This needs to be provided for clergy and elders in the ECO, the EPC, the PCA, and for Biblically faithful congregations still in the PCUSA. We need to contribute our resources and money to this end.
The PCUSA has theologically moved in the direction of the Episcopal Church U.S., the Evangelical Lutheran Church, The Church of Christ, etc. in adopting Unitarian and Progressive theological positions that do not recognize sin as we recognize sin from the scriptures, that do not understand the need for the Blood Atonement of Christ on the cross as we understand the need for Christ's work on the cross, who do not believe in hell or the evil beings attached to that local, as we understand it from the scriptures, who do not believe in the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, who do not believe in miracles of physical or emotional healing as we understand physical and emotional healing, in Biblical terms, who do not believe in the virgin birth, who do not believe in definitions of marriage and sexual expression as we understand marriage and sexual expression from the scriptures, and in general who do not venerate or attribute authority to the scriptures, as the Word and Work of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (The Bible), which these denominations did follow and adhere to, until relatively recently. At the same time, we do attribute full authority to the scriptures as the Word and Work of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Today, the aforementioned denominations have adopted a diverse set of beliefs and values that generally are more reflective of the tenants of faith, of the Deistic Unitarian Faith. Because our worlds are so different, it is just a matter of time before the remaining PCUSA congregations, that are faithful to the scriptures, are expelled in whole or individually, and their pastors replaced by individuals more in line with the PCUSA's worldview. We must provide resources and support to these congregations and help them to re-establish congregations affiliated with the ECO, EPC, or PCA.
We must re-evangelize the country with a combination of preaching and crusades to replace the work of tremendous individuals such as Billy Graham.
Finally, we must build bridges to like minded folks such as the North American Anglicans (ACNA), The Lutheran Church of North America, The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, The Evangelical Free Church, The Southern Baptist Church, and be supportive of the Biblically faithful congregations in the United Methodist Church, etc.
